90% Platinum 10% Iridium Wire
90% Platinum 10% Iridium Wire
This wire features a composition of 90% platinum and 10% iridium and is widely used in the assembly of microelectrode probes. Iridium, a platinum group metal, is very dense and hard, adding strength to the wire. Platinum-iridium alloys are usually produced by vacuum arc melting or induction melting.
1. For making jewelry, wires, laboratory containers, thermocouples, corrosion-resistant equipment.
2. The laboratory of the scientific research institute should be used as the carrier of the high temperature test, and the temperature should be above 1400℃
3. Suitable for electrical appliances, chemical industry and other industries.
4. Used as catalyst, oxidant and gas absorbent
