Bright Corrsion-resistant Pure Grade 2 Titanium Billets

Bright Corrsion-resistant Pure Grade 2 Titanium Billets

Grade 2 titanium billets are a silver – white metal with many excellent properties. With a density of 4.54g/cm3, titanium is 43% lighter than steel and slightly heavier than the famously light metal magnesium. Mechanical strength is similar to steel, 2 times greater than aluminum and 5 times greater than magnesium. Titanium is resistant to high temperature. Its melting point is 1,942K, nearly 1000K higher than gold and nearly 500K higher than steel.

Application of Grade 2 Titanium Billets

Grade 2 Titanium billets have high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, low density and biocompatibility, and has been widely used in aerospace, chemical industry, nuclear industry, sports equipment and other fields. It is also one of the main structural materials of modern aircraft and engines.
