Iridium wire is a thin wire-like iridium metal. The resistivity of the iridium wire is 6.03×10-2Ωmm2/m, the tensile strength is 1493MPa, and the elongation is 10%-20%. The iridium wire can be used as high-temperature oxidation-resistant thermocouple material and filament material.
Iridium Wire Application
· Iridium is applied in spark plug industry and aviation, chemical, crystal, electromechanical and other related fields (ignition electrode, high temperature thermocouple, electric contact material, filament, high temperature resistance wire, etc.).
· Iridium coating can be used as high temperature antioxidant protection layers for refractory metals, graphite and other aerospace missile materials.
