Seamless And Welded Molybdenum Tubes
Seamless And Welded Molybdenum Tubes Description
We can use high purity molybdenum material through perforation, cold rolling, drawing and other processes after manufacturing. The molybdenum blank is first heated and perforated to form a hollow tube blank, and then through multiple cold rolling or cold drawing processes, the pipe diameter and wall thickness are gradually reduced to achieve the required size and accuracy. Molybdenum plates or strips can also be made into pipes after crimping or welding. After the completion of all processing, strict performance testing and quality control are required.
Features
- High melting point, high temperature resistance, can maintain good stability in high temperature environment, not easy to deformation and melting.
- High strength, high hardness, strong pressure resistance, wear resistance, long service life.
- Excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, can quickly conduct current and heat, to ensure the stable operation of electronic equipment.
- Good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, molybdenum has good resistance to many acids, alkali and other corrosive media.
Application
- Electronic equipment: can ensure the normal operation of the thermocouple in a long-term harsh environment to ensure the accuracy of temperature measurement.
- Glass fiber: usually used to manufacture heating elements and electrodes for high temperature furnaces to ensure the stable transmission of heat.
- Aerospace: Molybdenum tube as an engine connection structure, able to maintain stable size and connection accuracy under high temperature changes during start-up and operation.
- Chemical industry: Used to transport corrosive acid, lye and various chemical reagents to ensure the normal operation of equipment.
- Oil extraction: Often used as a protective casing to withstand complex underground stress environments, improving drilling efficiency and equipment life.
The difference between seamless pipe and welded pipe:
1. Performance characteristics
Seamless pipe: The pipe wall tissue is dense and uniform, no welding joints, can withstand high pressure and temperature, and has good stability in harsh environments such as high pressure and high temperature.
Welded pipe: The quality of the weld will have an impact on the overall performance of the pipe. If it is not properly controlled, defects such as pores, slag inclusion and cracks may appear in the welding part, thereby reducing the strength and tightness of the pipe.
2. Application scenario
Seamless pipe: It is often used in fields with high requirements for pipe performance, such as aerospace, nuclear industry, electronics industry, etc. For example, in aviation engines, it is used to transport high temperature and high pressure fuel and lubricating oil.
Welding pipe: widely used in chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and other industries, mainly used for conveying corrosive media, high temperature gas and so on.
