Tungsten Copper Rod

Tungsten Copper Rod

Copper tungsten is a high-strength composite of two metals: 70/30 copper tungsten. It combines the benefits of conductivity of copper with the heat and wear resistance of tungsten.Tensile strength, used to indicate the material's overall strength, is the peak stress it can withstand before it breaks. Corrosion resistance describes the material's ability to prevent deterioration caused by atmosphere, moisture, or other medium. Wear resistance indicates the ability to prevent surface damage caused by contact with other surfaces. Hardness (commonly measured as indentation hardness) describes its resistance to permanent surface deformation. Our copper tungsten products can be widely used for EDM Welding, Electrical Resistance Welding and other electrode applications.

Tungsten Copper Rod Features:

1. Plasticity, high conductivity and other advantages, composite materials refined through the process of static pressure forming and high temperature sintering and infiltration of copper.

2. Because it has the characteristics of high change, high melting point and anti-adhesion of tungsten, it is commonly used for projection welding and butt welding electrodes with certain wear resistance and high temperature resistance.

3. The temperature is 900 ℃; it has high resistance to arc erosion and welding resistance, and is used as electrical contacts, electrical contacts and electrodes in various high and low voltage switching appliances and some instruments.

4. Excellent electrical conductivity; it is mainly used in medium, high voltage and medium and large current switching appliances, such as protection circuit breaker contacts and other contacts and contacts in power transmission networks.
